Today's upgrade causes Chrome issues

Hello all,

This morning I got the upgrade popup with a bunch of upgrades and accepted, as I have been doing since 22.04 release.

I started seeing issues on Chrome. Google docs render and are visible but within a half a second or so the screen blanks out. I see it on other sites with UI controls missing, pages flickering. I am attaching an animated gif to illustrate.

I did try with Firefox and all sites look good.

I suspect this is where I should be reporting such issues, please correct me if I should post elsewhere.

I did check which packages were update in the past day; I have a feeling it is the mesa related packages.

Once I did a more targeted search on MESA Chrome and Ubuntu, I got this thread that also contains, how to resolve these chrome issues:
