When I leave my notebook unattended, the screen saver (xscreensaver 5.42 [28-Dec-2018]) starts and shows nice lines and colors (flurry option). Similarly, when I close the lid the computer goes standby.
When coming back from both states, the screen becomes black and the login dialog appears. The problem is that there is a 1-2 seconds period before the login dialog, during which one can see what was going on before the lock was activated. For example if I was checking my emails before closing the lid, then you can see my inbox during 1 second before the screen becomes black and the login dialog appears. If I was watching a picture before the screen saver activated, then you can see the picture before the screen becomes black and the unlock dialog appear.
I am pretty sure this is not the intended situation, as it kind of defeats the purpose of having a login screen when coming back from standby/unattended, right?
