I have a very annoying and “unique” for Lubuntu issue with qpdfview. It simply doesn’t follow the LXQt color scheme. I’m in Dark scheme, but qpdfview is “white”. It is very strange issue as I do not have it on my other computer, where I recently used Linux Mint Debian Edition and Solus. Everywhere it was following the dark scheme, even though Cinnamon is GTK, but qpdfview is Qt.
Therefore, I believe this issue is related to Lubuntu (LXQt) itself. Any suggestion how to solve the issue and make qpdfview coherent with the OS style? Again, it is strange that Qt application is not following the color scheme in LXQt…
I think you’ve misplaced the blame. Everything follows the LXQt scheme, it seems… except for qpdfview. See where I’m going with this? qpdfview is not part of LXQt. I’d file a bug against it.
Yes, it seems that there are two options missing in their config file: iconTheme and styleSheet.
I managed to get the right icons by writing iconTheme=breeze-dark in the *.conf file, but styleSheet=Breeze is not working, unfortunately. Ok, I will contact them on Git in order to get support.
