OPERA Web Browser on Linux

Does anyone use OPERA web browser on Lubuntu? If so, how do you backup/save your bookmarks?

I’m not really an opera user, but it was installed and a quick look found bookmarks created in

~/.config/opera/Bookmarks

I didn’t have any bookmarks saved it turns out in my opera, so that file was created only today (within opera itself). It only contains a limited couple of entries, created so I had a file with date/time stamp I could search for on my file-system.

I’ve no experience with backup/restores and opera specifically, but I’d treat it as with any file.

I don’t use it at the moment, but saving the bookmarks for that and other browsers is very easy, just go to the browser’s bookmark options (also clicking the Opera logo brings up several options) and there look for the Export bookmarks option that will save your bookmarks in an HTML file on the site you choose. To get them back, just search and select the previous file with the option of Import Bookmarks. You could also use the synchronization option of the browser so that no matter what device you are on you always have them.
