Moving a Persistent live to another usb stick?

Hello:
I downloaded the latest Lubuntu (focal) and installed it to a 8 gb USB key using mkusb. I’m running out of system space already and would like to know if i can move the whole thing to a larger USB key … if not: is there a way to give the system more space?
