After a fresh Lubuntu 22.04 install, I added Backports PPA in order to upgrade LXQt to 1.3
Some packages do upgrade with apt upgrade, but some others appear as “kept back” and won’t upgrade. You need to apt install [packages] them. At least that’s what I have been tempted to do. It seemed to work, but the panel bar is missing after a reboot.
After looking, lxqt-panel was now missing.
The best thing to do seems to directly apt install lxqt after adding backports.
I thought I would write a quick post for people to find if they’re searching the forum
