LXQt Lubuntu 19.04 Shortcuts error

Hi,
I’m having a error with the latest Lubuntu LXQt 19.04 with the shortcuts menu.
When I right click on the screen and get the shortcuts menu and select one of the menu items I get the following error:
Failed to execute child process “lxsessuion-default” (No such file or directory).
How can I fix this?
Is there a file or directory that I need to create or edit?
Thanks for the help!

That’s the Openbox menu which isn’t a part of the normal session and its set up, i.e. it’s not really supported. You can look at the upstream documentation to fix it but you’re on your own otherwise.

I’ll add lxsession is part of LXDE (https://packages.ubuntu.com/disco/lxsession) and thus wouldn’t make sense to be included in what is now a LXQt desktop.

I’ll also remind you 19.04 is in it’s final week of support (https://lubuntu.me/lubuntu-19-04-end-of-life-and-current-support-statuses/) so please don’t forget to backup, and release-upgrade in the coming days.

To fix this, I went to Menu > Session settings and then disabled Global Keyboard Shortcuts under Basic settings tab.

All the keybindings from lxqt-rc.xml started working after that, including Super_L + E for pcmanfm and window tiling shortcuts.
