I read here and there, for example at https://www.debugpoint.com/2021/11/lxqt-1-0-release/ that assumed that LXQt 1.0.0 will be in Lubuntu 22.04.
What about 22.04 being in development?
If I upgrade my 21.10 to the development verison of 22.04, as soon as it is available, will it already contain LXQt 1.0.0 or later in the development phase? Or only in the final 22.04. in April 2022?
Lubuntu jammy does not include LXQt 1.0.0 yet
(it may get packaged and put into Debian so both Debian bookworm & Lubuntu benefit from the packaging; this hasn’t been possible in recent releases due freezes).
If you upgrade your system now; you’ll see changes mostly in your Ubuntu base, some KF5 & other upgrades, and upgraded packages as they appear during this cycle (including LXQt 1.0.0).
