Getting Mozc to work on fcitx in 20.04

Back in version 15, I gave up trying to install, configure, and use fcitx for Japanese language support; I just couldn’t get it to work. When I saw that fcitx came as part of Lubuntu 20.04, I was very excited. However, I still cannot figure out how to make it work. I’ve read the Manual here, the fcitx wiki, some Arch Linux pages, and watched some YouTube videos. Anyone have a good source with a thorough explanation of how to make it work with step-by-step photos?

I don’t know if I am missing something. Here’s my package list…
