Is anyone aware of recent problems with the AR3011 Qualcomm Atheros USB bluetooth dongle? It is marketed under various names, e.g. Asus BT-211.
I’ve been using it for the last time successfully with Lubuntu before 18.04 (maybe even earlier, but I can’t remember exactly which distro).
UPDATE My conclusion after spending many hours analyzing and reading about this device is that the device is probably broken. The kernel module loads, but its accompanying firmware doesn’t. The dongle is old and it is not worth spending much more time on it.
