Cant download from Discover (software center)

When I try to download software from discover, it asks me for my password. Once i type it in I get a messege “you have no authorization to execute this operation”. I’m the main user on the computer and have sudo status.

Can you please provide what version of Lubuntu you’re using and or supply the output to the command—

uname -a

—run via terminal. You can just copy/paste the text here.

Something must be amiss with the way you have configured your user. Or maybe the wrong password or something. If you run plasma-discover in the terminal, does it produce any useful output?

the command lsb_release -r got Release: 19.04

I’m trying to install a game and chromium. Trying to install either give me the same error.

This is a hardware issue. Linux is wonderful, but it can’t fix broken.
