Hello,
Lubuntu 24.10 started WiFi started disconnecting after a period of time. It can vary from a couple of minutes to a few hours before a disconnect. It tends to happen pretty often and is annoying. I have been looking for solutions online, but I haven’t found anything yet. Any support would be great! Thank you.
I guess maybe you are just too far away from you WiFi-point.
Did you experience this phenomenon earlier, with other versions of Lubuntu or other OS’es?
What hardware do you have? Also, can you share how you installed the drivers?
No, this is the first time I have encountered this issue. I did not experience it on other OS’s. It seems to be fine at the moment. It occurs randomly though.

Is your S/N ok? Do you have a lot of competition all of a sudden?
There’s a script: wireless-info
That will gather just about as much info as you might want to know from your wifi e.g. settings, diagnostics, logs, etc… At the very least it’s a way to baseline your wifi info so, that you can do comparisons from time to time.
I’ll use this. Thank you.
