Why Lubuntu use PulseAudio and Ubuntu use pipewire?

Hello.
Thanks for reading my topic.
Ubuntu 24.04 use pipewire for default sound.
Lubuntu 24.04 continue using pulseaudio as default sound.
Not demanding to change to pipewire.
Why not was done an sound change in Lubuntu as was in Ubuntu ? Pipewire does issues in LXQT ?

Have an nice day.

Lubuntu switched to using PipeWire by default at Lubuntu 23.04, refer Lubuntu 23.04 (Lunar Lobster) Released

Not all flavors of Ubuntu switched at the same time, but Lubuntu hasn’t made changes since 23.04, as we’re still using PipeWire.

Lubuntu and LXQt may use some PulseAudio controls, but that’s only at the user-end of the system, beyond user controls its PipeWire that is used for the sound.

You can look at what we include by default by exploring the manifest file, and then searching for pipewire, or even pulseaudio (inc. pavucontrol) but you’ll note pa files mostly relate to user controls, and pw is used by the actual system libraries that do the work at system level.
