I would like to say “thank you” to all the people working on Lubuntu. I just convinced someone to give me their old circa 2005 Windows laptop, and I installed Lubuntu 20.04. It is the first time I have installed a *buntu OS on hardware that didn’t originally come with *buntu installed, so I was expecting the install to fail in some way. It worked perfectly and quickly. It’s kind of amazing to me. This laptop I installed on was eventually headed to a landfill, but now instead I am using it to contribute more in my/its small way. The whole process has been both fun and fulfilling. Thanks.
