Manual links currently available 20.04 (lts) & 22.04 (stable)

The Lubuntu manual currently has two main viewing options; with stable or lts in the URL intended to represent which version of the manual you actually want.

ie.

stable manual link is https://manual.lubuntu.me/stable/
lts manual link is https://manual.lubuntu.me/lts/

Prior to Lubuntu 22.04 LTS release

  • stable was where you found the non-LTS; ie. it was Lubuntu 21.10
  • lts was used if you wanted to read the older Lubuntu 20.04 LTS manual.

What is there now: Lubuntu 20.04 LTS & Lubuntu 22.04 LTS

  • stable is where you’ll find the latest Lubuntu 22.04 LTS manual
  • lts is where you’ll still find the Lubuntu 20.04 LTS manual

If you’re still using Lubuntu 21.10, continue using the stable manual as it’s closest to your existing system.

If you want an easy way to know which manual you’re looking at, the release the manual is for, is still viewable in the top left blue-background panel of your browser window, ie. where you search. A quick example of differences can be seen with these links: stable and lts

FYI: There is a third master option too, which is the current development release, currently that’s 22.04 LTS; but when we shortly start work on kk or what will become Lubuntu 22.10, this is where those changes will be viewable.
