Can anybody tell me if Lubuntu comes with default system sounds? I don’t see anything in my menus about system sounds.
Is there a place i need to go to turn on something, or do I need to install a sound package?

I was looking for this when 16.10 was still supported.LXDE didn’t have anything for this last I recall… so I really doubt LXQt will have anything but I hope someone can prove me wrong. I was able to figure out how to get a logon sound by adding that to my startup config but that’s about it… sorry for the no-help response.
