I am only running live usb of lubuntu, with persistent storage.
I have been googling how to get Lubuntu to throw up the loging password on boot of the gui, but only digging up how to change root password. Would changing it change the login screen?
The live usb is not meant to be used for daily work.
If you want to use it on a USB stick, install the system on a USB stick.
