KDE Apps not respecting kvantum theme

I have downloaded and installed the Orchis-solidDark theme for Kvantum, installed it and applied it, I also applied the Kvantum theme in lxqt’s appearance settings, most apps are themed correctly, but I can’t get Discover and KDE System settings to look right, they look broken with a mixed light/dark theme (with effects such as white text on white background).
If more information is needed I can provide

The following link is a few years old:

Getting QT and KDE apps to work in non-plasma desktop

It doesn’t seem very promising since the solution in the article points to a KDE desktop. But, I don’t know, I couldn’t find anything else as relevant. Are you able to run systemsettings? Not that it matters, I’m just curious about this.

Interesting thread though, since both Discover and Global Theming seem to be problematic. I blew a desktop to shreds (no icons, multiple panels, etc.) trying to change the global theme. The only solution seemed to be restoring my home directory from backup and waiting for the next version of the distro.

Hopefully you’ll find help for this.
